For Firewalls:

Comodo Firewall

I have been using this firewall for the better part of eight months now and I am very pleased with everything it catches/finds.

Small learning curve...but well worth it.

The internet security free download also includes an antivirus program which i have not tried so i cannot vouch for that...but the firewall is top shelf.
