As I'm sitting here festering in my lack of MW2, I remember that George Carlin's autobiography comes out today. So, being a loyal Borders Rewards member, I realize that I'll need to make the trip down to the McCarthy Ranch Borders book store to get Mr. Carlin's life story. Then it crosses my mind that Best Buy is right fucking next door to that Borders store. This happens after I've already been awake three or four hours, and the FedEx guy is still driving around with my MW2 copy.
so, mostly out of self-loathing, I go "ahhh fuck it. deleted"
edit: Though it is true that FedEx always usually delivers stuff in this neighborhood before 9AM, and it's not 100% certain that Best Buy won't be out of them by the time I get there.

lol that's really funny, nice going dude. that's almost as good as my halloween meltdown where I forgot half the things for my costume and had to buy them on my way to the party. I was on the way up to SF already so I had to stop at the Sears on San Antonio to get an undershirt (ended up with a 6-pack) and a dress shirt (a snappy $18 job that was shortly stained and ruined). oh well, reminds me also of how I pre-ordered Uncharted2, then when it arrived decided i needed to play Uncharted first, so I ended up waiting like a week to play Uncharted2 because I'm an idiot. Oh yeah, and I spent the week leading up to Uncharted2 release playing AoE3, so I pretty much could've just been playing Uncharted then anyways. |

Still making the best of my BF2 here, the MOD called Project reality is what I play and tbh it is probably the best game out there atm. Some rounds can last up to 3hrs long and squad cohesion is way better. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Loginwww.realitymod.com There are so many things that one could say about the MOD and how its gameplay will make a large impact on future MMOFPS. Probably this is the only game where when you choose to become squad leader that EVERYONE really does as you say. It is also the only game I have played so far where you can actually incorporate real military tactics when it comes to infantry fire and movement. If you get shot once you will eventually bleed out until you die if not healed by a medic, each stage of your bleed out impairs your vision until you eventually blackscreen and die. The attention to detail that has been given to this mod makes this game in my opinion one of the main reasons to go out and get BF2 if you dont already have it. In comparison I would say that MW2 would satisfy the needs of your typical junk-gamer who has little time to sit down and let a battle unfold at the kind of pace you normally would expect. It is also strongly advised that you use a training server to get accustomed to gameplay. anyone else know of it? Sure MW2 has the eye candy but IMO it is probably wank when it comes to multiplayer. |

I violated my own rules with FPS this year when i bought borderlands and MW@. that is because in the beginning you always get the retards with the game.
the team killing, launching grenades, and rockets off the map. always after the first 6 months to a year they drop off the game and what is left is competent people. the experience of all FPS games is better down the road without the retards.

It's a shame about them fucking the PC community by cutting out dedicated servers, larger matches and any hope of running modded multiplayer.
I think I would have enjoyed the game.

The AC130 is only in multiplayer, and Kami doesn't do teh multiplayer I does spec ops, actually, I'm already starred out in Spec ops  I even got close to the IW times with both races :O 5 sec off on both of them (which on a race is pretty fucking much, I do declare..) |

On regular, that made me want to Some of them went pretty fast, especially on co-op, I just let them come to me Favela, I got on top of the car so the dogs couldn't jump at me.. all they do if you're on top of a car is growl at you.. clean shot between the eyes |
