I like to quilt.
Since 15ish i've been a daily quilter...
I've recently made the decision to give it up due to money reasons mostly. As well as i'm tired of hiding it from people. I'm on day 5 and honestly today is the first day i've felt the tips of my fingers in years. It's pretty weird for me not getting up and threading a needle to get my quilt-on. It's extremely odd to get home and not stitch a new pattern.
Speaking of patterns- I burned all of mine and was sad seeing them disappear in flames.
Why the LJ post? *shrug* Just wanted to share such with someone being none of my friends quilt and couldn't possibly fathom what it's like to one day stop being such a douchy loser after a decade of living in a bubble.

I have been engaged with the Association for Renaissance Martial Arts (ARMA) for a couple of years how and enjoy fighting with swords.
I also play the mandolin.
